The new Asus Vivobook S series lineup and the Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406) currently start at $749
Asus has introduced two new laptop models: the Asus Vivobook S series and the Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406), featuring OLED displays and powered by the latest AMD and Intel processors.
While we haven’t yet tested these laptops, the new chips promise enhanced AI capabilities with dedicated neural processing units, delivering improved power efficiency and boosting performance for gaming, multitasking, and editing tasks. The keyboards on these laptops are equipped with dedicated Copilot keys for easy access to Windows 11’s AI tools.
The Vivobook S series includes three models ranging from 14 to 16 inches, all running on Intel Core Ultra 9 processors, with an additional 16-inch model powered by the AMD Ryzen 8040 Series chip. The 14-inch Vivobook S features a 120Hz OLED panel for smoother scrolling, while the larger models come with 3.2K displays.
In contrast, the Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406) is equipped exclusively with the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and features a 60Hz panel. Although it shares USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) port, and a 3.5mm audio jack with the Vivobook series, it lacks a microSD card reader.
